QBE New Zealand
QBE New Zealand required that their historical policy system be replaced urgently due to redundancy of the hardware and application. Significant enhancements were required to Implement Sirius. This was a major conversion project that involved new product development, a significant rewrite of the source software and an automated system conversion. The project included working with the software vendor to enhance Sirius’s reinsurance functionality. Ravenswood project managed the implementation and conversion from POLISY.
At the same time Ravenswood managed the implementation of Sirius for QBE Fiji and QBE Solomons.
QBE Asia Project Initiation
In 2005 Ravenswood managed the scoping and initiation of eight insurance system implementations across Asia for QBE Asia.
QBE Singapore Acquisition
In 2004 Ravenswood managed the conversion of Zurich Singapore business to GipSEA from INSURE/90.
QBE Branch Project
In 2003 Ravenswood managed the complex systems development project of the branch enablement of GipSEA where an insurance system with no Branch functionality required Multi-Branch enablement.
QBE Acquisition of HIH NZ
In 2002 QBE purchased the HIH and FAI insurance business in New Zealand. Ravenswood managed the integration of eight separate HIH insurance systems to the QBE POLISY system.
